"Goats"
Yes indeed i mentioned.. Goats. This week we practised a tool in adobe illustrator know as the pathfinder tool. we were to outline a goat and use a method on pathfinder known as "divide" where multiple object outlines that are drawn, would be selected and then ungrouped, after dividing, every single interstion would not be connected and can be moved individually. :D magic like.
This image on the left is what we started from originally, as you can see, the goat on the far right was traced using a thick red outline and large bloopy eyes to add effect and signature design.
Next, i copied the goat several times and also traced out the rectangularto give this checker board effect. the yellow and green, internal affairs, were done coloured in using the swatch tool where multiple colours can be used for both the outline and fill.
This piece was done using a method in the pathfinder tool known as "divide". First i would make an elipse and slightly put the goat over the elipse object. then id select all, divide and ungroup. This allows me to remove unwanted parts of the goat making an illusion as if its going through the object (red goat). OR going through a portal (green goat).

Lastly, i had a little fun with the direct selection tool which i had used for expanding the legs and horns, did 3 goats on one side then copied and fliped them and also changed the colour to give this full image and bam. Hi Goats.
